Ola's Cabs Business Lost Half Its Revenue. The Ola Electric Stake Halved Too.

ANI Technologies, the operating entity for Ola Cabs and the holding company for the Ola group, reported FY2025 revenue of ₹924 Cr, down 47.5% from ₹1,761 Cr. Commission and convenience-fee revenue fell 44%. Two driver-side revenue lines (data charges and marketing/ad income) almost entirely disappeared. Operating profit flipped from +₹169 Cr to -₹367 Cr. Net loss expanded to ₹698 Cr. The auditor flagged 'cash losses of ₹269 Cr before exceptional items, the first such year in recent history'. The balance sheet took a bigger hit separately: ANI's stake in Ola Electric (now listed) marked down from ₹2,126 Cr to ₹847 Cr through Other Comprehensive Income, a ₹1,279 Cr non-P&L loss.

Uber India's Rides Revenue Fell 89%. Its Rides Costs Didn't.

Uber India Systems Pvt Ltd reported FY2025 net loss of ₹1,512 Cr, up 17x from ₹89 Cr. The standalone segment table tells most of the story: Rides revenue collapsed 89% from ₹807 Cr to ₹88 Cr while the Rides cost base barely moved, producing a ₹1,407 Cr Rides-segment loss. Support-services revenue (cost-plus to Uber B.V. Netherlands) grew 25% to ₹3,664 Cr. The auditor flagged 'principal versus agent considerations for revenue recognition' as a critical estimate. A ₹359 Cr deferred tax write-off doubled the headline loss.

Rapido Doubled Revenue. Losses Fell 64%. It Has Zero Debt.

Rapido's FY2025 filing shows revenue of ₹909.71 Cr, up 40% from FY2024, and a loss of ₹240.17 Cr, down from ₹675 Cr two years ago. Revenue doubled while losses were cut by nearly two-thirds. Zero long-term debt. The trajectory is among the cleaner improvement stories in Indian mobility for FY2025.
